Launch of the Maryse and William Brock Chair

Dr. Pierre Duplessis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CellCAN, and Vanessa Laflamme, Chief Operating Officer, participated in the launch of this Chair in applied research in stem cell transplantation. William Brock, Member of the Board of Directors of CellCAN, is a survivor of an acute myelogenous leukemia, diagnosed in 2004. Mr. Brock was saved thanks to a transplant of stem cells received at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital. Since his complete remission, Mr. Brock and his wife, Mrs. Maryse Bertrand, are doing everything they can to help the advancement of research in this area.
